Red Bull Air Race San Diego 2009

Nicolas Ivanoff of France won the second Red Bull Air Race of the season in San Diego on Sunday with a superb run in the finals.

Britains Paul Bonhomme took second place in front of 55,000 spectators watching the race over San Diego Bay under bright blue skies 1.11 seconds behind Ivanoff.

   This was one of the most exciting events I attended all year in SD.

   These pilots are unbelievable. If you get a chance, don’t miss an air show.

   These planes ripping around San Diego Bay were so cool. My dad and I can’t wait for this to come back. Beyond fun.
